This resort is ensconced in a 5,000-acre lagoon.  It’s 70 percent glass so it’s like sleeping in an aquarium.  $30,000 covers two nights underwater, four nights on land and a plane flight for two to the location.

Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort, Finland

This nature resort features log cabins and various igloos with saunas and fireplaces.  There are two restaurants, a glass igloo bar, and smoke saunas.  There are no televisions.

Giraffe Manor and the Giraffe Center is home to endangered Rothschild giraffes who freely roam the property.  Built in 1932, it resembles a Scottish hunting lodge.
